Vermont CPA Exam Requirements

버몬트주 공인회계사 시험응시요건

 

2014년부터 Vermont주의 응시요건이 120학점 이상 취득한 재학생 시험응시가능에서 150학점 이상 취득한 졸업생 시험응시가능으로 바뀝니다. 이에 따라 CPA를 준비하고 계신 여러분들께서는 미리 숙지하시어 시험보시는데 착오없으시길 바랍니다. 아래는 응시요건 변동사항입니다.

 

Bachelor's degree and 150 semester hours to include:

42 semester hours in accounting and business including:

6 semester hours of financial and/or managerial accounting (excluding Introductory Accounting)

3 semester hours in auditing

3 semester hours in U.S. Taxation

3 semester hours in U.S. Business Law

2. Additional Requirements To Get CPA License

Education

42 semester hours in accounting and business

Work Experience

• 1-4 years of public or non-public accounting experience, depending on the level of degree (bachelor vs masters degree). Please note that non-public accounting experience must parallel public accounting experience – please double check with State Board for individual cases.
• The experience has to be supervised and verified by a licensed CPA or equivalent (generally means CPA from Australia, or CA from Australia, Canada, Ireland, and Mexico. Please double check with VT State Board).
• Experience must be attained within 15 years of the application. Note: a proposal in 2011 will shorten this period to 4 years prior to the exam to 4 years after the exam, i.e. 8 years in total.

Ethics Qualification

• Taking of an ethics course equivalent to 8 hours of CPE. Candidates can simply choose to take the CPA ethics exam offered by AICPA.
